This children’s vest, made from 100% virgin wool from sheep called “Merinolandschaf” raised in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg, southern Germany, is ideal for the transitional season and a true must-have for little outdoor adventurers. Thanks to its longer back, it keeps the wearer warm all around, while the stand-up collar provides additional protection against cold winds. The practical zip fastening makes it easy even for the youngest children to put the vest on and take it off. Two pockets also provide space for little treasures such as conkers, stones or other finds from nature. A long-sleeved wool/silk top fits perfectly underneath. On particularly cold days, it is also ideal as a warm midlayer under a jacket.
This locwool collection is a project close to ENGEL’s heart, created in collaboration with local shepherds in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg. As only limited quantities of this wool are available, the collection is produced in limited numbers. Find out more.

Handwash. Just swish the garment gently through lukewarm water (max. 30° C). Avoid scrubbing or twisting. It is very important that the same temperature is always used.
- Use a natural detergent, specifically for wool (pH value < 7) Do not use softener! We recommend the <a href="https://engel-natur.de/en/lanolin-detergent-1-x-0-5-liter/101161">lanolin detergent</a> for wool and silk from Ulrichs

Squeeze the product gently in a towel to dry. Pull carefully back into shape. Dry product lying on a towel – do not dry on a radiator or tumble dry.
