locwool is more than just a material – it is a genuine project of the heart. Since 2019, we at ENGEL have been working together with shepherds in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg to to restore the value of regional wool and turn it into high-quality, long-lasting favourite pieces for families.
Regional by nature
The wool for our locwool collection originates exclusively from south german merino sheep (“Merinolandschaf”) in Bavaria & Baden-Württemberg. This means:

With cuffs that grow with the child, breathable and temperature-regulating wool and a wind- and water-repellent outer surface, these pieces are ideal companions for autumn, winter and spring.
